21 VERSES FOR THE 21ST YEAR

So here I am, back with another set of verses which will surely minister to you. The first set of 5 verses was well received and I’d take this opportunity to thank everyone who’s shared the first link. Thanks for blessing people all round. Let’s keep making God trend over the next few days…..

John 14: 27 : Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

There have been times past, and there still are moments like that in my present state, when my heart is troubled and I’m scared. Even in this lockdown period I’ve had scares but the Lord reminds us that He left his peace with us. We just have to drop our worries and put them before his throne with the belief that He remains true to his word.

Matthew 11:28 : Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest

How do I speak about this verse?? Every person, believer or non-believer, has had an experience of weariness and weakness. In moments like that, the only thing to do is come to God and just surrender it all to Him. Our beds can give us the physical rest but God is the only one who can give us every form of rest, including Spiritual rest.

Jeremiah 33:3 : Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you don’t know

A very good friend of mine calls this God’s phone number and I certainly do agree. This was one of the very first verses you’re taught at a younger age. In your early childhood, you are taught; “Call to me and I will answer you” as you grow older now you learn “and I will tell you great and unsearchable things you don’t know.” This is evident that human knowledge has its limits and that indeed God knows everything. All knowledge and wisdom comes from God and if you lack in knowledge just call Him on his personal phone number JEREMIAH 33:3

Job 42:10 : And after Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave twice as much as he had before.

The story of Job is one that we are all familiar with and understand to a large extent. We live in a world where the youth do not pray for their friends, simply because they think when they do their friends will be more prosperous. The story of Job will not have changed had he taken the same stance and refused to pray for his friends. Most of our friends need that small prayer boost from us. We are all on different stages in the Kingdom work, many of our friends need prayers to let them grow in faith and structure in the Kingdom. Pray for that brother God has placed on your heart. That sister that popped into your mind pray for her. They don’t just appear in our minds, they are put there for a reason. You may not know what to say but trust me when you decide to pray you’ll know what to say. And if Job’s story is anything to go by, you receive double portion of what you have lost for saying that prayer.

James 5:16 (b) : The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much (KJV)

Prayer is a very important thing in my life. No matter how short the prayer is, no matter how long it is, no matter the interruptions, I still remember to pray. Sometimes I get caught in the wonderful atmosphere of prayer and momentarily drift away from my immediate environment which sometimes irks people. Prayer is just a wonderful experience and I’ve learnt that praying fervently not only builds you up as a Lion in the tribe of Judah but it produces so many open doors for you. Pray with fervency in this period of the COVID-19 period. It’s not at all easy to keep praying but just keep trying even if you remember to pray while watching TV, say the prayer it doesn’t matter you don’t need to be in church to pray, God hears us from everywhere and he will answer our prayers.

The second part is done, these verses are really powerful verses and I’d advise that you read and study them to fully understand it. Today too I’ll plead with you guys let’s make God trend this weekend and let people come to God through this piece share this wide and let’s watch God do marvelous things in our lives. God bless us all and we’ll continue tomorrow with another set of verses as we prepare to climax on Tuesday. Bless you all!!!!!
