21 VERSES FOR THE 21ST YEAR

Day 3 is here and I’m really happy to be doing this again with all of you. The sharing of this message has been superb and I must say that it is my prayer that by the time we peak on Tuesday, great things would have happened. Let’s get into today’s set and receive whatever God has for us.

Psalm 1:6 : For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous but the way of the wicked will perish

God knows His people and always ensures that their way is protected so that they can reach their salvation. If we as believers want to join God in heaven, we need to move away from our wicked ways and live a righteous life because, God hates sin and sinners will perish. You need to live your life in such a way that in Heaven and on earth it may be known that indeed you are a lion in the tribe of Judah

Matthew 7:12 : So in everything do to others what you would have them do to you

The Golden Rule as this verse is known, is an important verse for all of us. We need to treat all people, young or old, the same way you would want to be treated. If you want someone to respect you, you need to first respect the person that is how it works, a two-way road, if you want it you must do same to the person. I’ve stuck to this rule most of my life and of course I’m not perfect but I try my best to do to others what I’d like them to do to me.

Hebrews 4:12 : For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

The word of God is amazing indeed!! From movies and all we know what a double-edged sword can do to the human body. The word of God is sharper than any weapons that are created by men, it gives us the authority to bring down anything and fight our spiritual battles well equipped. Stick to this word and you will never lose a battle with God and heaven on your side.

Hebrews 4:16 : Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need

This verse had to follow the previous verse for obvious reasons. As believers we sometimes become reluctant to pray to God when we are in need. Most believers think that their sin is so great that God will not forgive them and have mercy on them. We should note that no sin is too great to be forgiven by God and that he has the power to wipe our slate clean. Grace is the undeserved favour we get from our father in Heaven. His grace is sufficient for us all no matter our circumstances. He created us and will forgive us and grant us mercy in our time of need.

We conclude today’s set and it is my prayer that these verses will continue to make an impact in our lives totally. Please and please again don’t forget to share, someone out there needs to see this and come closer to God. Remain blessed, stay safe and remember that COVID-19 shall pass. Amen…..
