The last few days have been very interesting and full of impact across board. We’ve made an impact in many lives since we started this project on Thursday and I’ve been very happy. I say WE because it’s been a partnership between you guys and myself and it’s appreciated. Today, we are receiving the 19th and 20th verses of this 21 verse series, with tomorrow bringing the climax of the series. It’s my prayer that these two verses will bless you, as the 18 other verses have.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up on wing like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
A very popular verse and I’m sure many of my readers were wondering why it hadn’t come up in the 18 previous verses. Well, it had to come up at the right time. I didn’t want to use this verse because there were others that I equally loved but I believe that, this is indeed the chosen word. Waiting on the Lord is not an easy task especially when you wanted a rapid response to a request or plea. However, the Word of God explains why it is good to wait upon the Lord in our times of need. God renews our strength, thus given us a new lease of life when we wait for him. At the same time, he ensures that after that we soar high like eagles, never grow weary or faint. That to me is one of the wonderful things about waiting upon our Heavenly Father. I’ve waited on God so many times in the last few years and one thing I know is that, He is never, ever late to answer us and renew our strength. He’s promised us that His promises are Ye and Amen, God clearly isn’t a man that he should lie to us. I’m a man and I know that I make promises and end up breaking them. For God there’s nothing like breaking His promise to us, His children, who are called by His name.
Psalm 85:5-7 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your unfailing love, Lord and grant us your salvation
Revival!!!! It isn’t the first time I’ve spoken about revival and it’s surely not going to be the last time. When ever we move away from the throne of grace because of moral decline, we become in need of a revival. Revivals don’t have to be congregational, they can also be personal and in the confines of our homes. Being revived is simply a re-awakening from slumber to partake in the glory and salvation of God. To be revived we need to get closer to the Holy Ghost to experience the feeling of power. Last year was a year or revival in many ways for me. There were times when I felt so far away and with some sweet experiences with the Holy Ghost, I received a new dimension of grace and I’ve never looked back. This verse was my verse for the year 2019 and I must say it was really one that was backed by Heaven. From experiencing the spiritual revival, I had the chance to partake in many physical revivals which were a great blessing to me and to many. In 2019, the revival took place and it has spilled over into the 21st year.
There we have two of the final 3 verses delivered to glorify God. I really hope that the verses have spoken to you and made a bigger impact in your lives. Let’s not forget to share wide because there is someone out there who needs to see this post. God bless you in advance for taking the decision to share. Keep praying for and with me as we prepare to peak tomorrow, 19th May 2020. I love you all.
