2024 WRAPPED

A couple of days ago, I sat on the floor of my room reflecting on the kind of year 2024 has been and I couldn’t help but be thankful to God for everything. I’m still standing, after all I have seen and been through this year. Why? Because God is faithful and His promises are Ye and Amen!

There were three themes that were covering my 2024 and in a way, my carnal mind wanted it to be smooth. You can trust God to laugh at our humanness and scatter everything to His glory.

The first theme was a prophetic word and it was termed “Eagle Season.” The scriptural foundation of Eagle Season can be found in Isaiah 40:31.

The second theme was another strong word “Satisfaction,” which is based on the whole Psalm 23.

The third theme was yet another strong word “Send The Light.” This was also based on Acts 13:47.

One may ask how do these three work together. My answer is simple; “A three-fold chord is not easily broken!” I’m eternally grateful for the gift of people in my life because in times when things became tough, God’s chosen stood by me, encouraged me and even lifted me up.

In March 2024, the team at Make-A-Child-Smile Foundation headed out for the 4th edition of our flagship project “Mentorship 101.” This particular one was special and I’ll forever be grateful to my favourite shoemakergurl, Edna Frimpong and my lawyer, Kezia Asiedua Sanie for honouring that invitation.

I’m also thankful for the team at the Explosion of Love Campaign! After taking about a year off to focus on strengthening the ministry, we stepped out to preach to some amazing young ladies at the Bishop Girls’ School in Accra. I well and truly felt like we had fulfilled our mandate to Send the Light.

In 2024, I think I worked the hardest that I could. Many people who saw me work in 2023, said I had worked very hard but with Eagle Season in mind, 2024 was just an amazing year for me. Countless sacrifices, successes, tears, working through physical and emotional pain but in the end, God satisfied me with an amazing blessing and with two hours for the work done this year. If I begin mentioning names, I may get into trouble for forgetting someone so I’ll restrain myself and just say Thank You!

On the lighter side, I got to MC a beautiful wedding and finally got to make the announcement that someone’s car was blocking the way.

I’m signing out for 2024 with this word just for you. In the new year, don’t sit down, expecting the opportunities and blessings to just fall on your lap. You know where you are and you know where you want to go. Get up and start moving towards your destination. I’m not promising that it will be easy but you won’t know how hard the ground is if you don’t start digging. Keep praying, trusting God, working hard and above all, Let Brotherly Love Continue.
